Principe’s Menu

We began our evening with a few cocktails that they are known for. The Aperol margarita was something you don’t find everywhere and definitely was a perfectly refreshing drink for the summer. To start we had the Marinated Tuna with Blood Orange & Daikon and Snow Crab Claws with Mustard Greens, a refreshing and vibrant starter that set the tone for the evening. The starters’ portions were small but perfect for sharing, allowing us to sample something unique and special.

Soon after, the restaurant’s renowned bread arrived, accompanied by delectable sheep milk butter. Warm, crispy, and perfectly salted, it was an instant hit.

The main courses took the spotlight, and each dish was a star in its own right. Then came the mains. The Rock Shrimp Mafaldine with Sugo Bianco stole the show. The pasta was immersed in a rich, buttery sugo that tempted us to lick the plate clean. The Olive Crusted Branzino with Green Olive & Parsley was equally divine, with its special crust adding an extra layer of flavor to the perfectly cooked fish. To complement the meal, we enjoyed a side of fries and aioli, a satisfying and tasty addition.

The Finishing Touch

The dessert selection at Principe was nothing short of enchanting. The Vanilla Ice Cream with Olive Oil and Black Pepper was a delightful surprise, blending sweet and savory notes into a harmonious symphony of flavors.
