NYC restaurant recommendations

This week, we’re sharing some of our teams well-kept secrets when it comes to eating well around the city. These NYC restaurant recommendations will give you insights into a few different cuisines and neighborhoods around the city. Bon appetit!

Raku, East Village or Soho: In our opinion: best.japenese.udon.ever. You can find Raku in two locations around the city, both in the East Village and Soho. Our recommendations: monkfish liver (trust us, it’s incredible), chicken tatsuta-age, and the tantan hot udon.

Ilili, Flatiron: Known for its class and creative twist to Lebanese food, Ilili never disappoints. With a range of delicious mezze, shawarma, jibneh, and more, Ilili is definitely a place to go treat yourself. Finding a reservation is hard, but thankfully they also offer amazing Lebanese brunch.

Banter NYC restaurant recommandations

Banter, Greenwich Village: The owners Nick and Josh, coming from Australia, wanted to create the perfect “chill spot” for a casual brunch, and they definitely succeeded. Our favorites include the best flat whites, avocado or mushroom toast, and of course some delicious Nutella french toast.

Wildair, Lower East Side: “A New York Restaurant” is their slogan, and trust us, it sure is. The contemporary American restaurants has a small menu great for a dinner with friends, but interestingly they are known for their i.n.s.a.n.e doughnuts. Surprised to hear that? Go and try, and you’ll understand the hype.

Tacombi, various locations around Manhattan & Brooklyn: A restaurant that never disappoints. The casually cool setting makes you believe your sitting somewhere in Mexico, the tacos (let’s be real, the whole menu) is amazingly flavorful, and the margaritas, well they are the icing on the cake. No matter what location, this restaurant is always here for a good time.

Moustache, West Village: We would go to this restaurant just for it’s amazing location in the heart of the West Village (hint: right next to the iconic Friends building.) This middle eastern restaurant has been here for over 10 years and they are still as amazing as ever. Their meats, mezze, and fluffy pita are our go-to’s, however they are also known for their oven baked “pitzas.”

Atla, Noho: A redefined and modern take on Mexican food. They lively atmosphere brings people together around tacos, fish, meats, and of course a wide range of Mezcal and Tequila. This restaurants is one of our favorites for a birthday dinner, celebration, and good time.
